In 2007, Golfers not only scored big on the links but also scored pencils and backpacks, all while helping to boost funds for a Miracle. Last May at the Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake, golfers generously contributed funds and donations at the Second Annual Credit River Cares Classic Golf Tournament. With this money, Credit River Cares was able to raise funds to buy school supplies for every child who voiced a need in ISD 194 last August and also was able to offer $13,000 (with the help of anonymous donators) to help build a Miracle League Field in Lakeville to help physically-challenged kids play baseball.
The Miracle League Field is continuing to seek funds to help make this dream a reality for physically challenged kids in our area. If you are interested in getting involved in this effort, contact us and we can direct you to the volunteers in charge of this program.
